Vision 2019 pt two

in Faith, Family, Lifestyle, December 31, 2018

Hello, Hello! Happy New Years Eve!!! This has become the most looked forward to thing in our family traditions. We are birthing new traditions as a married couple and I hope that you guys married or not are creating some of your own. This makes me very happy to hear testimonies of people who believe God and want to live their lives fully in him. Thank you for following me on my first year of this blogging adventure of learning and walking in who God has created me to be. Last week we spoke about how writing down the vision for 2018 and about the significance of writing down our vision for the year means. This week I want to emphasize on what follows when we do.

Writing down the vision down is only the first step. And having holy messenger of the Lord take it to him is only the second part of this. Now my favorite part is God’s promise to fulfill this vision for our lives. I love it. In Habakkuk 2:2 as we dissect it we see that the Lord later goes on to saying,

For the vision awaits an appointed time; it testifies of the end, and will not lie. Though it lingers, wait for it, since it will surely come and not delay.”

His promise is that the vision awaits an appointed time. It speaks that even if it lingers wait for it. It will surely come, and not delay. Isn’t that beautiful. Isn’t it beautiful that his promise is true? Isn’t is awesome that he promises it will come. It will not delay. He wants you to wait for it. Wait for it. Don’t be desperate wait for it. His promises are yes and amen for our lives. He wants us to have good gifts a good life, a life full of him. Full of his splendor, and full of his mercies that are new each and every day. He will fulfill what he said to you. He will fulfill his promise. But better yet he will help you fulfill the vision for your life. This is probably my favorite part of this all. The vision will surely come, and it will not delay.

Nothing is perfect, I added some wrong things into my vision board too!

What if I told you I wrote some erroneous things on my vision board too! Don’t be afraid of what to put down. I put down that I wanted to own a home in Long Island (you guys I live in Texas now), and my husband put down that he wanted to get into the Fire Department as a Fire man. He did. But obviously he didn’t stay. Feel free to make mistakes, after all its the only way you’ll learn. Don’t be so hard on yourself. Give yourself some breathing room to make errors. It’s ok, God will align your will and his. Through His word God begins to show us to think like him, and to test the perfect will of God and know the perfect will of God. If there is something, I’ve come to understand is that desires come from God. Desires are put there by him, and if you have a desire that doesn’t align with his will for you then he is faithful and can be trusted to set us in the right path. He did it with me, He did it with David and He will do it with you. So don’t let fear stop you from having a vision for the future, and fulfilling your purpose in life.

Happy New Year!

Happy New years you guys! Thank God for you all. Thank you following this gal! I pray that 2019 is for you guys an amazing experience. That you are blessed abundantly with growth, and love and most of all God’s presence. Let me share that in our research of 2019 we found that the number 9 symbolizes divine completeness. And I also found it interesting that there are nine fruits of the spirit which are Faithfulness, Gentleness, Goodness, Joy, Kindness, Long suffering, Love, Peace and Self-control. I pray that this year is one in which you accomplish the divine will for your lives for 2019. I also pray that the fruits of the spirit are more evident than ever in your lives. That you enjoy this year to the max!
